San Diego Archers is a very active club, sponsoring two shoots a month and three major tournaments a year. The Rube Powel Range is host to 3D, Animal, and Hunter Rounds. The Morely Field range has marked targets from 10 - 100 yards in 10-yard increments and is host to league shoots and 900 Rounds.
Bear State Archers is located in the beautiful mountains of San Diego County over looking Lake Henshaw and is the site of several 3D fun shoots on Sundays, and the 'Bear-ass Shoot' every year.
LGRGC Archery Range is located just east of Alpine in San Diego County. It is home to 38 acres that hosts 28 3D targets set up with real hunting scenario shots. Targets are changed each month, and are left up 24/7 for members of the LGRGC to shoot for $5.00. Open to the public on tournament days, the second Sunday of each month (except Sunday holidays).
Riverside Archers is one of California's oldest archery clubs. The Riverside Archers' range is nestled in the valleys and canyons of northwest Riverside County. The NFAA walking range sports some of the most varied terrain around. Many of the shots are over water as well as uphill and downhill. "If you can score well at Riverside, you can score well anywhere!"
Oranco Bowman, located in Chino, CA, hosts 6 major shoots each year. They are open to the public on Sundays (excluding major shoots, work parties and holidays) 8:30 am - 2:00 pm and costs is just $20.00 per archer.
Southwest Bowhunters has an archery target-shooting range located just north of Yuma, AZ. The range is part of the Adair Park Shooting Complex, and the range is open to the public. Fun Shoots every Sunday - $5 for members; $8 non-members, and five major shoots throughout the year, including the 3rd leg of the AZ 3D Championship Series.
